Despite the fact that there is fungus growing in the rear elements, this OM 24mm f2.8 is great. Small in size but not in performance. Very happy with it, although I would still like to have the fungus cleaned if I could get it done cheaply.
clean it at home ... and do it before you put it near your camera again. A quick light spray of Windex and a quick wipe with a lens tissue will do it.
ReplyDeleteYou do NOT want that stuff spreading its spoors onto your sensor.
Windex contains ammonia and will kill the mold and the spoors almost instantly.
@obakesan: thanks for the advice. I will see if I can do it myself without destroying the lens which, unfortunately, happens too often.
