Sign of the Times

It's an increasingly common sight: people are using their iPad or digital tablets to photograph or record video in place of the normal camera/cell phone/camcorder.  The first time I saw someone taking pictures using an iPad, I thought it was weird; it's just strange to see a person holding a 10 inch device taking pictures.  But, after seeing this a few times, I said to myself "why not?".  The iPad/Tablets are no different than a cell phone or digital camera.  It's just bigger.

  1. poor bastards ... iPad's have such miserable cameras on them, even the iPad2 isn't much chop. These are probably the same people who wouldn't have a digital camera back when they were only 3Megapixels. Never ceases to amaze me the rubbish you can sell to people if you win over their minds that its good.

    1. These are the same people who would not spend money on a quality camera to capture the special moments of their kids, and yet would not think twice indulging themselves in expensive meals and cars, etc. It always pains me to see blurry, fuzzy, grainy pictures of kids that parents are so proud to show.
