I love camera gear and picture taking. This is a window to my world of photography -- how I see through the lenses and what gear I use.

Red Motorcycle
I have had the Panasonic 45-200mm lens for almost a year, but never really use it much. For some reason, this lens doesn't give me the desire to use it, like many of my other lenses. In my opinion, it's a fine lens, but nothing spectacular. For one thing, it's maximum aperture is slow at f5.6 at the long end. I don't like slow lenses, especially slow zoom lenses.

get a new bike?
ReplyDeleteI like scooters for around town :-)
I agree with you on the 45-200 ... sold mine after 2 months of ownership and haven't missed it. Just bought a FD 200 f2.8, expect to see that reviewed soon ;-)
obakesan: my normal transportation around town is a bicycle. I bike to work year round, even in the winter and snow. I would love to ride a motorcycle but I don't think it will happen, at least not in the near future :)
ReplyDeleteI am putting up my 45-200 for sale too. Can't justify keeping it with such infrequent use.
