I guess Canon sacrificed accuracy for speed.

As for the 5D, I have to say that it's one of the best cameras I have used, although not for speed. The weak AA filter makes all the lenses you mount on it more crisp than other cameras, and the clean ISO 1600 is very usable and better than the 1D Mark II's. The only gripe I have with the 5D is that more manual focus lenses seem to hit the mirror than other Canon DSLRs.Lens Bubblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06445561503570800312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4577546745078520453.post-55363924306298484072010-02-12T02:06:51.921-05:002010-02-12T02:06:51.921-05:00Hi

I know that my age old EOS 630 focuses better and more accurately than my 20D did ... which was a shock I can tell you.

I thought at first this was because we can see so clearly on digital and film is perhaps more unclear ... however my time with an LS-4000 scanner has shown otherwise. My 630 continues to pull rabbits out of the hat.

I hope that the 5D (which I am now considering buying) will do as well ... if not I might just have to go over to a film 1Dn and scan for the critical sports stuff ... wouldn't that be annoying!obakesanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13743339737847465926noreply@blogger.com
