If the vignetting visible in the bicycle shot is as it comes then that's heavy vignetting IMO.<br /><br />I guess that the price value comparison is poignant here as the price of the lens (as a bundle with the camera VS the camera body alone) isn't too high. The standard zooms in 35mm land of daze past were always considered poor compared to primes.
